User acceptance testing is typically a manual process. Conducting manual UAT (User Acceptance Testing) is not something we specifically encourage if it is not performed by actual end users.
But depending on the kind of development work, and the level of DevOps implementation maturity that exists at an organization, it is a reality because it may be a part of the value stream workflow. We do though encourage the inclusion of actual end-users in the development process because doing so will ultimately lead to products that perform better in real world environments compared to products developed without actual end user feedback.
